1998 - The Fort Wayne Wizards' Ramon Borrego jumps out of the way of an errant pitch Sunday, July 26, during a game against Michigan at Memorial Stadium.
1999 - Warren Pryor measures one of the muscles he found Friday afternoon as he worked one of his survey areas on the Maumee River. He measures,weighs, and records the condition of the animal in a log.
2000 - Jordan Nicodemes was put in charge of keeping an eye on his brother's cow Buddy at the Whitley County 4-H fair on Wednesday. Buddy was exercising his vocal cords probably protesting his current situation.
2003 - Trophy changes hands during the 4-H pig show, Saturday morning at the Allen County Fair Grounds.

2010 - Statues of St. Paul, left, and St. Peter stand on the floor at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Barr Street after being lifted down from the altar, in background. The statues are being sent away for restoration in preparation the congregation's 175th anniversary in 2012.
2011 - Fort Wayne Police searched for evidence at the scene of a shooting Tuesday in the 4400 block of Winter Street. A man was treated by medics before being transported to the hospital in serous condition after being shot around 12:45 p.m.
2011 - Lexi Cristiani of Ukiah, CA does her routine in the Freshman A Girls Free Skating Elimination Round, Tuesday afternoon at the 2011 Figure National Championships at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum.
2012 - Construction continues on the bridge over Spy Run Creek. Thursday afternoon construction workers were going over a form that had been constructed for a concrete pour on the north western side of the new bridge. The project will straighten a curve and raise the bridge over Spy Run Creek.
2012 - Many sheep at the Allen County Fair Thursday wore coverings to keep them clean before they were shown that night. Some of them had animal print coverings.
2013 - Fire illuminates hot air balloons at the Balloon Glow Thursday night at the Allen County Fair.
2017 - Children and adults alike hold on tight on the Orient Express roller coaster Tuesday, one of the many carnival midway rides at the Allen County Fair. The fair runs through Sunday.
