When Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne announced plans to sell its corporate office earlier this month, the listing price was not disclosed. But the 17.6 wooded acres and lavish 23,370-square-foot building can be yours for $3.9 million.

According to the brochure prepared by the Zacher Co., the building at 7100 W. Jefferson contains more than 11,500 square feet on each of its two stories and has an assessed value of about $2.49 million, generating annual property taxes of about $77,613. The structure built in 1989 and designed by Florida architects Charlan Brock Associates to evoke a “grand British country home,” is “exceptionally well built and well maintained,” Zacher states.

The building also boasts a security system, oak crown molding, six fireplaces, a walk-in vault and a three-car garage with seven doors.

Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne President Todd Hollman has said the building’s original purpose of entertaining community members, its large footprint and the many closed rooms no longer suits the company’s vision for the future.
