Spherion Staffing of Fort Wayne is making a big move.

The locally owned office of the national staffing firm is celebrating its 10th anniversary and continued growth by relocating to a larger space at Electric Works.

“We are experiencing an ever-increasing demand for our talented employees and our investment in state- of-the-art recruiting facilities and recruiting technologies is exciting,” Tom Pentenburg, who co-owns the Fort Wayne office with his wife, Elizabeth, said in a statement. “We look forward to partnering with Electric Works to support our growth.”

The redevelopment of the former General Electric campus in downtown Fort Wayne, Electric Works will include 39 acres, 18 historic buildings and more than 1.2 million square feet of space for offices, innovation and retail, among other uses.

Spherion Fort Wayne joins a growing list of tenants for Electric Works, the first phase of which is currently under construction. Other previously announced tenants include Parkview Health, Indiana Tech, Medical Informatics Engineering and Fort Wayne Metals.
