Fort Wayne hearing on I&M rate-hike request will be July 16
A field hearing will be held in Fort Wayne by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission to hear public comments on the rate-increase petition of Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M).
The hearing will be 6 p.m. July 16 in Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Walb Student Union – Classic Ballroom, 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd.
During field hearings, ratepayers have the opportunity to speak directly to the commission or submit written comments. Because this is a pending case, the commissioners and judge are not allowed to answer questions or engage in any discussion about the case. Those who are unable to attend may submit written comments to the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor at www.in.gov/oucc/2361.htm. Ratepayers also can submit their comments by mail, email, or fax.
