New Haven Police chief to retire

New Haven Police Chief Henry McKinnon is retiring, according to the department’s Facebook page.

McKinnon served New Haven for over 23 years, including time as road patrol, D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T Officer, Student Resource Officer, detective and deputy chief.

“We will miss him, but wish him well in his future endeavors! Help us thank him for everything he has done for our city,” the Facebook post stated.
