Four convicted on various charges

Allen County juries returned guilty verdicts against four men in the last two weeks, according to the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.

Joseph Arrington was found guilty of two counts of dcaling in Cocaine as Level 4 and 5 felonies on Jan. 30, and Allen Grogg was convicted of domestic battery as Level 5 and 6 felonies, two counts of resisting law enforcement, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Grogg and Arrington will be sentenced on Feb. 28.

Raymond Demby was found guilty but mentally ill on Feb. 6 on nine counts, including attempted murder, burglary and using a handgun in the commission of an offense resulting in death or serious bodily injury. Demby will be sentenced on March 6, 2020.

Finally, Willie Witherspoon was found guilty of two counts of child molesting on Feb. 6 and will be sentenced on March 20. He faces a sentence of between 20 and 40 years.
