Pizza Hut donates food, cash, to ease pandemic’s impact

Locally owned and operated Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne restaurants will provide hundreds of free pizzas to local small businesses and grocery store neighbors. They also have donated more than $10,000 of produce to homeless shelters and food banks in their markets the last three weeks.

“This is a crucial time to band together and show the strength of the people of northeast and central Indiana” Todd Hollman, president and CEO, said in a statement. “We are all in this together, and as a family we will come through stronger than ever. We could not be prouder of our nearly 2,000 team members who continue to serve our communities with a smile.”

The company also has new contact-less procedures in place to keep employees and customers safe during the COVID-19 crisis.
