Three fire victims identified; one called a homicide

The three people found in the house fire in the 1800 block of Rosemont Drive April 10 have been identified — and at least one of the deaths was a homicide, according to the Allen County Coroner’s office.

Fort Wayne Police Department discovered the fire and requested Fort Wayne Fire Department. When firefighters arrived, they found a victim and removed him from the burning residence. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Identified within the residence was Marcos Ildefonso Casares, male, 37, who is listed has homeless. His cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wound(s), making him the 11th homicide in Allen County for 2020.

Also identified was Doak Stanley McBride, 51, of Fort Wayne. His cause of death is pending. The third victim was identified as Kyle Gregory Call, 32, of Fort Wayne. His cause of death is also pending.
