Parkview Field ranked No. 1 in minor leagues by Stadium Journey magazine
Parkview Field is once again the No. 1 minor league baseball stadium, according to Stadium Journey, a magazine which ranks stadiums nationwide.
The home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps was selected by the Stadium Journey staff of 100 writers for the fourth consecutive year.
“This is really amazing,” TinCaps president Mike Nutter said in a release. “This is an honor that Parkview Field celebrates with, and because of, all our supporters and partners throughout the region. Given the great lengths Stadium Journey goes to in covering the industry, this ranking means a lot to us.”
The rankings are based on a number of factors, with Stadium Journey singling out Parkview Field’s concessions, varied seating options and in-game promotions as reasons the ballpark remains No. 1.
Stadium Journey ranks Parkview Field at No. 29 overall in its 100 best stadiums in North America.
Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium ranks fifth, Notre Dame Stadium 22nd, Indianapolis’ Butler Fieldhouse 27th, Indianapolis’ Victory Field 59th and Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse 94th. Wrigley Field in Chicago earned the overall No. 1 spot.
