Bishop Luers boys basketball announces summer hoops camp

Bishop Luers boys basketball will be holding a camp at the beginning of June, head coach Will Hubertz has announced.

The camp will be held June 1, 2 and 3 at Bishop Luers High School. This will be the first camp held at Luers under Hubertz, who took over the program last season.

Hubertz, his assistant coaches and players will direct the camp that is open for grades 4-7. Grades four and five will hold camp from 1-2:30 p.m. on those dates. Grades six and seven will follow from 3-4:30 p.m.

The price is $45 per participant and checks can be made payable to BLHS ABC BOYS BBALL. A registration form can be found attached to this story or is available for download at with a registration deadline of May 18. Walk-ins are welcome but not guaranteed a camp shirt.

Outside of four and a half hours of instruction from coaches and players over the three days on basketball skills, academics and character development, campers will also receive a camp t-shirt, contest prizes and a skills evaluation for each camper.
