One of the state’s best offensive linemen in the Class of 2019 has made his college decision.

Huntington North senior offensive tackle Damon Kaylor took to Twitter on Wednesday night to announce that he has committed to Coach Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans.

The first thing I would like to do is thank God for blessing me with this opportunity,” said Kaylor in a tweet. “I would also like to thank my parents for helping me through this process and taking time to take me on visits to several different schools during this recruiting process.”

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Kaylor also thanked the various schools that offered him a scholarship and his coaches before announcing his commitment to the Spartans.

A three-star prospect according to 247sports.com, Kaylor chose Michigan State out of a total of 16 offers, including from the likes of Indiana and Cincinnati.

Kaylor is the 10th verbal commitment for Dantonio in the Class of 2019 and the third offensive lineman, joining Spencer Brown out of Michigan and Nick Samac of Ohio.
