After going undrafted on Thursday night, Issac Haas has signed a free agent deal with the Utah Jazz on Friday, according to Purdue men’s basketball’s official Twitter account. He will join the Jazz for the Salt Lake City Summer League that runs from July 2-5 and will likely be on their roster from July 6-17 in Las Vegas when all 30 NBA teams will participate in that summer league.

Standing 7-foot-2, Haas is bigger than any other center on the Jazz roster. Haas averaged 23.4 minutes and 14.7 points per game as a senior. And while shooting 62 percent from the field, he only posted 5.7 rebounds per contest. He fractured his elbow in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and questions about his speed in today’s NBA, if not his health as well, kept him off the boards on draft night.

Utah selected Duke’s Grayson Allen on Thursday night with the 21st pick. It was their lone pick of the night.
