Gene Keady, Brian Cardinal, Troy Lewis and more set for Purdue Boilermakers alumni game

A who’s who of Purdue University men’s basketball lore will converge on Mackey Arena on Saturday for the Alumni Game. It’s free for fans.

Purdue coach Matt Painter will coach the Gold Team and legendary coach Gene Keady will coach the Black Team in the event, which starts at 11 a.m. Doors open at 10 a.m.

Keady and Purdue great Brian Cardinal will be on hand for the opening of the Purdue Athletics team store on the north end of Ross-Ade Stadium with an autograph session from 9-9:45 a.m.

The rosters for the game:

Gold Team: Robbie Hummel, P.J. Thompson, David Teague, Dru Anthrop, Matt Kiefer, Ryan Berning, Roy Hairston, Spike Albrecht, Bobby Riddell, Darmetries Kilgore, Rodney Smith, Travis Carroll, Maynard Lewis, Frank Kendrick, Justin Jennings. Coaches: Matt Painter, Steve Lutz, Brock Touloukian, Dave Wood.

Black Team: Willie Deane, D.J. Byrd, Ryne Smith, John Hart, Troy Lewis, Brian Cardinal, Brandon Brantley, Matt Waddell, Todd Mitchell, Mark Wohlford, Neal Beshears, Tim Ervin, Tony Rhem, JaJuan Johnson, Marcus Green. Coaches: Gene Keady, Jack Owens, Greg Gary.
